Brazilian Celebration Day!
Dear Friends,

On September 8th, 2007, we will be celebrating the Brazilian Independence
Day, at the Portugalia Restaurant, in Ocean Beach.
This event will be first t-shirt party (abada party) here in San Diego. It
means, that the ticket to get in the party is the t-shirt.
We will have several bands playing for the entire event. Bossa Nova,
Forro, Samba, Axe Music, Carnaval, and much more!
Brazilian appetizers and fruits will be provide for the first two hours of
the event as well.
The t-shirt (ticket) cost only $15. Please contact Sylvie (ass.organizer) through the Meetup page to reserve yours Today, before is to late! This will be a sold out event!

This event at Portugalia Restaurant is open to the public, so if you are planning RSVP , add hom many you will be bringing with you.
We are looking forward to celebrating with you this important date for the
Brazilian community.
This will be a fun event highlighting a variety of Brazilian performances
including music, dance and capoeira.
This event will start from 6:30 to 1pm.
I will be there for sure!!

    • “ The event was awful.....very disorganized. I got to go because my co-worker's date sold me the T-shirt....if it was for the person who organized the event I would not be able to go.....once I got there I had a lot of fun, but I wished people from the Meetup would be there! Please organize this site or do not do it.....I received a few emails from other members who were very disappointed with the lack of organization and consideration for the ones who had signed up and did not get to go! ”
