Acabei de encontrar informacao sobre filmes portuguesses na Cinemateca do Instituto de Arte de Cleveland. Eu ainda tenho problemas pra entender o sotaque do Portugal, mas acho que vai ser interesante.
I just found out some information about Portuguese films at the Cinematheque of the Cleveland Institute of Art. I still have trouble understanding the accent from Portugal, but I think it would be interesting.
O nome do filme e "Espelho Magico"
"Leonor Silveira plays a wealthy, devout woman who lives on a lavish country estate and spends her time fretting that she has never been visited by the Virgin Mary. (?Why would she appear to those shepherds at Fatima and not me??). One of her hired hands, an ex-forger, decides to help. This magnificent Oliveira opus features the master?s usual wry philosophizing, impish satire, and limpid photography. The ending just might take your breath away"
We can meet at the entrance of the Cinematheque 10 to 5 minutes before the movie. After the movie we can go to the Museum Cafe and talk for a bit. Admission is $10
