“ I showed up at 12:30pm at Pacific Catch restaurant and found a few members waiting for more of us to arrive. I was told that some people had already gone to the celebration because the organizer never arrived. It was dissapointing especially since this was my first Meetup and now I will wonder if subsequent meetings will be the same. I did meet some interesting people from the group that made things better, but everyone went their seperate ways leaving me by myself. I don't mind going to these kinds of things alone but the whole point of joining this group was to meet other people and make connections with those interested in Brazilian culture so that I wouldn't have to go alone. ”
