Do you play capoeira, dance samba/pagode/forro/baila funky/etc, or otherwise do Brasil-related activities on a regular basis?
I love samba dancing and can't get enough brazilian music (i.e. samba, bossa nova)
What's your skill level in conversational Portuguese?
Complete beginner......my mother and her family are from Rio de Janeiro and speak fluent portuguese....why I don't? I have no idea...but that's why I'm here.
Have you ever been to Brazil?
Yes. I went for my first time last November. I loved it and am definitely going back, but this time I'm hoping to be a better communicator.

I thought this event was fun and a great way to meet the people in the group. It was a nice social event but I'm interested in learning to speak the portuguese language and found it somewhat difficult to do that in that atmosphere.
